Simone Sultana is an economist and strategic advisor working with global organizations and multi-stakeholder initiatives involving business, labor, government and civil society. She has facilitated multi-stakeholder processes on national macroeconomic and development policy during the political transition in South Africa in the 1990s, has worked on strategy solutions in the sustainable development space for the last two decades and helps develop visual-based advocacy in areas ranging from global corruption to climate challenges and education.

Simone has served on the following Boards: As Director on Tshikululu Social Investments (Anglo American); as Chair of BRAC UK for a decade; as Director of the BRAC Global Board until 2021 and was on the Board of the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, a founding initiative addressing worker safety in the global apparel supply chain. She is currently Member of the BRAC General Body (BRAC is a leading global NGO in development) and Trustee of UK charity, the Hard Rain Project. Simone studied Economics at the University of East Anglia and Cambridge.
